The Gas Transmission Access Code will go live on 01 October 2019. The Gas Industry Company has released their final assessment of the Gas Transmission Access Code (GTAC) as being materially better than the existing transmission access codes (read their assessment here).

The documents below are functional specification documents for the Transmission Access Commercial Operations System (TACOS) IT system which will support the implementation of the Gas Transmission Access Code. These documents are released to assist stakeholders in early preparation for implementation of GTAC prior to GIC Final Assessment.

There may be some changes prior to the final set of documents being released to meet the requirements of the Maui Pipeline Operations Code change request on April 10. We therefore caution stakeholders against relying on this preliminary version of the documentation. This page will be updated to reflect new versions as they become available.

The following sections of the document require further technical input and are not included at this point:

F.05_Metering_Gas_Quality_&_Line_Pack_2.0A
F.07_Capacity_Allocation_&_Curtailment_2.0A
F.08_Operating_Imbalances_&_Mismatches_2.0A
