Information on how to enter the prize draw forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the prize draw is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
First Gas Limited, 42 Connett Road West, Bell Block, New Plymouth 4373 (trading as First Gas) is the promoter of the prize draw (the Promoter).
No purchase, entry fee, or payment is necessary to enter this competition.
Entry is only open to New Zealand residents who are over the age of 18.
How to Enter: To enter, an eligible participant must fill out all fields in the “subscribe to our newsletter” form on the First Gas business hub website. Entry into the prize draw is automatic upon submission of a correct and fully completed online form. Participation in the competition is limited to one entry per person.
The Promoter, its employees and their immediate families, participating agents and their associated agencies are ineligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
Prize Draw Period: The prize draw commences Thursday, 26 June 2025 at 00:01am and closes Thursday, 31 July 2025 at 11:59pm. Entries received after this closing time will be ineligible for entry. One valid entry will be draw on Monday, 4 August 2025 at 12:00pm.
Attempts will be made to notify the winners by email on the email address provided on the prize draw entry. If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner by 12pm on Friday, 8 August 2025, then the prize is forfeited and a further draw(s) will be conducted. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The valid entry that is drawn will win the following prize:
1 x $250 Prezzy Card
Unless otherwise specified, prize must be redeemed within two weeks of the winner being notified. If the prize is not redeemed by this date, the prize will be forfeited.
The prize is not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other product.
The winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the Incentive that are not specifically included (as stated in clause 9).
 
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. 
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this prize draw.
Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this prize draw shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this prize draw or with any prizes offered.
The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the prize draw. If the information requested is not provided, the applicant may not participate in the prize draw. Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the applicant’s details and photographs of the applicant for promotional and media purposes without any further reference, or other compensation to the entrant. Please refer to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy at firstgas.co.nz/privacy-policy regarding the storage and use of personal information.
This Promotion is subject to the laws of New Zealand. Both the Promoter and you, and any party which uses or takes the benefit of any prize awarded, accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
